Ah-ha! SETTINGS / PLUGINS was showing the old 2.0 Alien Plugin, not compatible. So I deleted the Alien folder, and tried using the new Alien Installer. Same problem - no Alien showing up.
The I realised - and the exact details aren't apparent to me right at the moment - that the Installer was installing the new Alien Plugin to the wrong directory (using the default location that the Installer suggests in fact sends the Plugin to the wrong place....). A bit of manual fiddling around and I now have everything working back to normal. I'll try a little later to reproduce the error, and see whether there's something odd with a) my set up, or b) the Installer. Unlikely to be the Installer - but you never know...... -- agbagb ------------------------------------------------------------------------ agbagb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7034 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51992 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
