Can you try the app here https://github.com/philippe44/mdnssd/tree/master/bin, using the one that matches your platform and launch the following - "./climdnssd-xxxx _raop._tcp.local" and see what comes back. If your player is in the list, then try - "./climdnssd-xxxx -v _raop._tcp.local" and send me the result.
