I think I have good news and bad news to report about the AirPlay
bridge. I don't know if either is very significant or relevant.

The good news concerns the interaction between the AirPlay and Group
Players plugins. My typical use case is rather extreme: five AirPlay
devices synchronized with three Squeezelite players. The Squeezelite
players are connected by powerline ethernet, so all my wifi players use
the AirPlay bridge. Synchronization almost always drifts a bit over
time. When players get out of sync, I usually stop playback for about 30
seconds. When I restart it, starting from the beginning of a track, the
players are usually back in sync. Occasionally, if that doesn't work,
it's necessary to restart the AirPlay bridge.

Since switching to the beta, sync has usually been consistent for hours.
The only exception I've found is when playing BBC Sounds (Radio 3). Sync
still drifts a bit in that case, but no worse than before.

The bad news is that the beta consistently fails to recognize one of my
AirPlay devices. The one in question is a piCorePlayer installation with
shairplay-sync running, but not Squeezelite. (Two of the other players
are Jam speakers; the other two are Pi zeros running shairplay-sync on
Raspberry Pi OS.) I should also mention that the problem player has a
hyphen in its name (Porch-pCP).

I have now reverted to v0.4.63.1, and the missing player has reappeared.
And unsurprisingly, sync is drifting more, again.

Usually running latest beta LMS nightly on Raspberry Pi OS with virtual
players (Squeezelite and Airplay bridge). Occasionally using SB Radio,
Boom or Classic.
