I am new to Tidal, on a trial, a couple random thoughts:
1) If you use android, the simple android app "lms connect" is wonderful for using the Tidal android app for your UI, and sharing your selection to the Tidal plugin: https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?114611-Announce-LMS-Connect-streaming-Tidal-Qobuz-to-LMS-via-native-Android-apps I really struggles trying to use the lms plugin as the UI (Of course, I probably didn't know what I was doing :) ) 2) I am not sure about your location, but here in the US, the "holiday trial" of 3 months for $1 (HiFi) or $2 (HiFi+) is still available: https://tidal.com/offers/holiday-2021 My early observation is there is allot of current music genres that I am not really interested in, but once you start listening to what you are interested in, there are allot of relevant suggestions and curated playlists.
