That's a reasonable assumption from the plugin perspective. Not sure how the AVR deals with this. Can you turn on Zone 2 when Zone 1 is off with the Denon remote? I am not aware of any restriction in the plugin that calls for Zone 1 to be on before Zone 2 is turned on.
