AVP-A1HDCI is a preamp only and was made in 2008. There was a hardware
upgrade that was installed in 2012 that added 3D video and extra Audessy
support.

And yes, I never even noticed (or cared) about the QS setting volume
before. You made me look. :-)

I'll check to see what 3 seconds is like. But like I said, this was the
first unit that had networking. I would not worry about chasing this
issue.

The technology within this unit is old, but the music side is superior
to whatever is made today. Its still a flagship from that perspective.
Kind of like driving an old Porsche. :-)

BTW I updated the copywrite dates and release history for the latest
round getting it ready for 3.0. None of the code was changed so use this
if you make changes.  You can add yourself as a contributor.
