I agree. What we really need is a change in LMS where we can tell it what we want displayed for Artist and AlbumArtist I.e. First value OR All values with options for each field. Multi values are really for indexing purposes and dont necessarily lend themselves for display purposes very well. Then we have to consider what we want MAI to use for its Artist Bio lookup. Just for your interest this is an example of why I dont want all values shown for a Track Artist ARTIST: Luther Grosvenor; Jess Roden; Dave Moore; Mike Kellie; Steve Dolan; Pete Brown; Luther Grosvenor, Jess Roden, Dave Moore, Mike Kellie, Steve Dolan, Pete Brown The compilation CD it comes from - This is the Blues. Vol. 1 - lists the artist as Luther Grosvenor, Jess Roden, Dave Moore, Mike Kellie, Steve Dolan, Pete Brown but as I have solo albums by three of those individuals I have split and multi valued the tag accordingly so that the track gets indexed against each - which it does. Value 1 = Luther Grosvenor, Jess Roden, Dave Moore, Mike Kellie, Steve Dolan, Pete Brown - which is what Id like to see in the queue and now playing. Im sure thats how it used to be. You can see that I definitely dont need what amounts to a long repeated list of the same names.
