I think this is going to be a strange question...
Is it possible to add a feature/button in Player Settings / Extra settings, to reboot a hardware player - I am most interested in being able to reboot or restart a Squeezebox Touch. I have found that periodically my SBT, (running the EDO firmware,) begins glitching every few seconds when streaming FLAC, despite having proxied streaming enabled. I have found that when this begins to happen, the solution is to do a hard reset on the player by the pulling power on it. I imagine there is a memory leak or something going on in the player firmware. Anyway, it would be handy if I could just hit a button somewhere to reboot the player. I looked through the LMS CLI documentation, and I don't see any obvious command to do this, so I am skeptical it can be done. *Living Room:* SB Touch + DIY PSU > CI Audio VDA.2 DAC + VAC.1 PSU > VRX.1 cables > Emotiva XSP-1 Gen 2 preamp + XPA-DR2 amp > Blue Jeans cables > B&W 804 speakers *Laptop:* System76 Galago + Ubuntu 16.04 + Squeezelite + Material Skin > ifi USB iSilencer > Audirect Beam DAC > Senn IE 80 earbuds *Bedroom:* Pixel 3a Phone + SB Player + Material/mobile > Bose SoundLink Revolve *Server:* Puget Systems Serenity + Ubuntu 18.04 + LMS 7.9.2 *Music:* Personal FLAC, Radio Paradise FLAC, Qobuz, Spotify ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ron F.'s Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5616 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
