"Delay" are cosmetic - estimated by the plugin to try to "help " the listener but calculation are a bit flaky in 1.4.* and a bit better up to 1.5. The difficulty lies in not being able to deal with bad responses from BBC and bigger size of decode and output buffer in soft players compared to real SB players.
