I don't know much about firewalls, but it doesn't make a lot of sense to me that a firewall would create problems only with PCLinuxOS torrents. No other torrent or direct download has ever been a problem. Furthermore, the problem appears to be my computer not connecting to the torrent, which would be a problem with an upload, not a download.
