Mike, Yeah we have a whole pile of Supermicro rackmount servers of various sizes here we would like to get rid of since we migrated to blades and VMs last year. No older than 4-5 years. 32 servers in all.
I think I will need a formal request for hardware donations from your school. A simple email from someone in faculty or administration, introducing the school, letting us know what you would use the server for, etc. I'll get approval from my boss.
