Would anyone have suggestions on how to test CDRKing's ITV-300 PCI TV Tuner
in Ubuntu? I have a new Atom pc and would want to run this as a PVR. I
connected CDRKing's ITV-300 PCI TV Tuner in Ubuntu and lspci shows that it
is recognized as SAA7310. A Google search confirms that the card is indeed
SAA7310 powered (http://www.tv-cards.com/model.php?modelid=220).

My problem though is that none of the software I installed (MythTV, VDR,
TVHeadend, Xine) work with it. MythTV shows that it sees a generic SAA7310
card, but doesn't show anything when I scan for channels (assuming I did it
correctly). TVHeadend doesn't even see the card.

As with almost all CDRKing products, they only have a 1 week warranty (which
ends this Saturday). The only way I can think of testing it is installing
Windows on the machine to rule out software / OS issues. I don't want to do
this though since I already have Ubuntu 10.10 installed and have already
downloaded a ton of updates.

Thus my query - would anyone have suggestions on how to test CDRKing's
ITV-300 PCI TV Tuner in Ubuntu?
