As usual, it doesn't have a driver for Linux included in the CD so I browsed the net for drivers. I found a driver but it is in rpm. I just found out that rpm can be converted to deb package using a utility called alien. I'll try it out tomorrow and hoping it would work. Just a side note, I hope hardware manufacturers would also include Linux drivers. I mean, I already gave them business by buying their product, so what's keeping them from supporting the OS I have so I can use their product without headache. just in case your thing doesn't work: try also cups (www.cups.org), if it works for you. cups is Common Unix Printing System. ------------ Cocoy Dayao [EMAIL PROTECTED] big mango - http://arkangel1a.blogspot.com "People who are really serious about software should make their own hardware." --Alan Kay _________________________________________________ Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [email protected] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Read the Guidelines: http://linux.org.ph/lists Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph
