Hello everyone, Just tried out Salix Linux. I was planning to install and test, but the installer gave an option of Live option. So started in it.
System used(Desktop): Intel Pentium(R) 3.00 GHz, 2GB RAM, Intel inbuilt Graphics. The ISO download was: XFCE one. Live system directly boots into GUI. Kernel - 3.10.17 LibreOffice 4.2 Midori webbrowser (also has an option of private browsing) GIMP 2.8 Thauner FM Was able to connect to net using WiFi Dongle :) Inerestingly Salix is still an init based system.
