This is the reason I do not upgrade! My preferred method is to keep a
separate / and /home partitions and at every install format the / and leave
the /home untouched. Works like a charm.

Installed Kubuntu 11.04 today. Installer looks the best I have seen so far!
KDE graphics are also better than ever before. Love the new network manager,
battery level, etc. icons in the panel. sleek!
