Since nobody seems to have accepted the invitation, let me be the first. :)

English can be simple AND correct. I don't think they are mutually
exclusive.

Simple/understandable - but grammatically incorrect -  may be acceptable
ONLY during first few years in IT industry, beyond that one better learn
"correct" English. Even if you are working for yourself, "correct" English
is required, else your potential clients are going to carry first bad
impression.
