Yes and that enthusiasm might even be rewarded some day. Meanwhile I make my current decisions on where to put my personal data based on the existing reality rather than sheer hope. If there is a commitment such as a public roadmap to open source it, then it influences my decision. Currently, I am going to staying away from it.
