Just to chime in favor of HP. I recently purchased a Deskjet F4200[1] series printer which works out of the box in Fedora. Out of the box as in just connect the thing to the USB port while using Gnome and wait for a few seconds !! Pretty unbelievable stuff and yes, everything works. cheers, steve [1] http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/us/en/sm/WF05a/18972-18972-238444-1142650-410635-3390945.html -- why procrastinate when you can perendinate ? -------------------- random non tech spiel: http://lonetwin.blogspot.com/ tech randomness: http://lonetwin.blogspot.com/ what i'm stumbling into: http://lonetwin.blogspot.com/ -------------------- _______________________________________ Pune GNU/Linux Users Group Mailing List
