On and off when I read similar thing the only issue that crops to my mind is who maintains it when the original admin/proposer is not around (it is an inevitability if you are a student and a possibility if you are a faculty) and thus I'd really say that if such a chance exist push the infrastructure bits of your required service to someone who already has such a thing set up. > A requirement for both the lists is that it should be able to set up > tagging rules for each user. Tagging would help filtering and mail sort at MUA for end user. Unless there are multiple recipients of mails marked say, [ENTC] a direct mail to sender or creation an alias for which more than 1 user receive a mail copy might be suggested. > The above is not a requirement set in stone, however. Any decent mailing list software / web based existing list service should provide that along with somewhat limited security that archives are available only to subscribers - -- You see things; and you say 'Why?'; But I dream things that never were; and I say 'Why not?' - George Bernard Shaw www.linkedin.com/in/sankarshan -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.7 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Fedora - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFG2hGHXQZpNTcrCzMRAn9KAJ9jI0z022lO8EWEnk/wye5ZIjjGfgCdFKDv otCDCZE7R1MPv/HWDNFCAQs= =vA6q -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- ______________________________________________________________________ Pune GNU/Linux Users Group Mailing List: (plug-mail@plug.org.in) List Information: http://plug.org.in/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/plug-mail Send 'help' to [EMAIL PROTECTED] for mailing instructions.
