I installed Fedora Core 4 I tried to install XMMS 1.2.9 today by compiling While I do ./configure It can't find glib-config
What was the exact error ? I guess it's because the glibc-devel packages were not installed. When you installed FC4 did you select any particular install type like workstation, server etc ?
xmms Rpm also gives same kind of error saying some .so file is missing
