Just for the record. I am using win2k prof sp4 in my
company for past 2 years. Previously the machine was
NT 4.0 SP6 which was upgraded. So for past 3 years or
so, my machine is working just great w/o any problem -
all the softwares working really fine after the OS
upgrade.
I even dont know where the setup files are (in case
something goes wrong and I need to reinstall/repair
things.)
Since I am into testing, I get the most corrupt and
horrible written code to test which, the least I can
say, tests the OS, and also my patience :), to the
limits.
(I really dont want to start flames, but once I had a
bet w/ my friend to crash windows irreversibly. And he
failed. In fact he, who doesnt stop raving about red
hat - and still uses RH 7, has "demoted" himself in
using win95!)
