I am not sure what 'laptop upgrades' you are looking for. I have installed 10.1 MDK, the only notable feature being it runs on the stable 2.6.8.1 kernel. So it would be easier to download the patch (or source) of the latest stable version and compile it. This is easier, faster and cheaper than downloading 3 ISO images of 700 MB each !
Nevertheless you still have to tweak the 2.6.8.1 to support basic laptop functionality like APM, ACPI and Wireless Tools/Support (note, this may be easier if you are using relatively older notebooks i.e. the bulkier generation of laptops) Regards -swapnil -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Navneet Karnani Sent: Thursday, October 14, 2004 1:39 AM To: Pune GNU/Linux Users Group Mailing List Subject: Re: [PLUG] Mandrake 10.1 CDs Hi Amit, I have 10 with me.
