The error messages where *exactly* the ones as in the forum thread:
dpkg: dependency problems prevent configuration of polkitd-pkla:
polkitd-pkla depends on polkitd (>= 121+compat0.1); however:
Package polkitd is not configured yet.
I tried to manually install polkitd-pkla but always got that error
message which I simply had thrown into a search engine and ended up in
that forum thread, which helped me upgrading the box and gave it out
of my hands again.
