Unfortunately I don't think this is going to work. Now that there is a "fixed" version, the BTS will only regard this bug as fixed in unstable if it sees a source changelog containing that version. Since this will never happen (it's a binNMU) the BTS will never regard this bug as fixed. Given that binNMUs have no testing migration delay, hopefully this won't affect people for too long. James
