Oh, I'm sorry, I was confused, ffDiaporama does not build-depend on libavcodec-extra after all but seems to really require it at run-time. It has been a while and I have been confused about the situation. So we still have two problems: First, Recommends is too weak, as Fabrice confirms that the package *will not run* without it. Second, out of the alternative, one of the two *will* be wrong, and depends on the version of libav the package was built against.
