I tried the following: $ gnome-mplayer -v voyage.ogv > /tmp/gnome-mplayer.out 2>&1 where voyage.ogv is the short film already cited in bugs #699393 and #696714. As soon as the video began to play, I pressed [Ctrl+1], then [Ctrl+T], and finally [Q]. The resulting file is attached (slightly edited). It actually shows an error message about the inability to take screenshots, but I fail to understand what's the problem. It seems to talk about some command-line option (forgot -vf screenshot?), but I haven't found this option in the man page... Anything useful to debug my issue? Please let me know. Thanks for your time! P.S.: by the way, the same output may perhaps be useful to investigate bug #699393 ... -- http://www.inventati.org/frx/frx-gpg-key-transition-2010.txt New GnuPG key, see the transition document! .....................................................
