I believe I speak for the team if I say we prefer if you work directly on the git repository, because then interested people can look at the commit logs via de commits mailing list. BTW, all those externals seem to come from the same repository. I'm not quite familiar with Pd's release workflow, but it seems to me that externals are not released independently of pd. In such a case, it might be better so create a single source package that builds all of these externals? Indeed, there seems to already be a makefile to build all of them.
