first of all, I'd like to thank all of the team members for their
work, as it helped me a lot to get started with CL.

I would like to contribute as I regularly build a number of packages
from different repositories for internal use in our company.

However, I have no idea of what is necessary to maintain the packages,
'officially'. Could you please comment on the work which has to be
done? How often does one have to update the packages? Are there tools
which help? How does one test the compatibility of the different
packages?

And (most important) how much time should a candidate have, to be able
to fulfill his 'duties'?

I know that much of the answers cannot be exact, but I just would like
to have an idea of the amount of work.

Thank you
