Is there any interest on the part of the Debian Common Lisp team in adopting/NMUing GCL?
One possible solution would be to force it to compile with gcc 4.2, working around #464474, and applying the patch in #487435. I'm willing to help, but I'm not really a lisp expert. I got into this via trying to get maxima working for lenny. It works with sbcl but only on 6 arches (i386, amd64, mips, mipsel, powerpc, and sparc). There are some issues with the build on alpha that I am currently trying to narrow down enough to bug the sbcl people with. I guess other packages are also broken by GCL's current disfunction. David Please CC me, I'm not subscribed to the list. _______________________________________________ pkg-common-lisp-devel mailing list pkg-common-lisp-devel@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-common-lisp-devel
