this isn't a function of PHP, its a function of your web server. You need to tell your web server (or ISP) to use index.php just like it would use index.htm or index.html.
Check the Apache docs or IIS docs for more info...

Hey guys, I am wondering how, when people go to my main site, http://splix.dyndns.org, they get redirected to index.php.I am used to using HTML, where the first page the user sees is index.html. How can I do this with PHP? Thank, Dave
