Check your php script, in the form action part, it should not contain anything like "localhost".
When you access it from a remote computer, it's no longer localhost.

I have an html page (iisstart.htm) which calls a php program running
successfully with MySQL from the server where it is installed. I simply launch
the iisstart.htm file by double clicking on it as I am logged into the server.
It all works exactly the way I want it to locally.

I have gone through the following steps in enabling PHP processing on this
server:

   1.  In the "Actions" pane click "Add Module Mapping...";

   1. In the "Add Module Mapping" dialog enter the following:

      *   Request path: *.php
      *   Module: FastCgiModule
      *   Executable: C:\[Path to PHP installation]\php-cgi.exe
      *   Name: PHP_via_FastCGI

   1. Click "Request Restrictions" button and then configure the mapping to
invoke handler only if request is mapped to a file or a folder;

   1. Click OK on all the dialogs to save the configuration.

This all seems to be properly setup. If I go to another machine and type in the
IP address of this server, the main iisstart.htm file gets displayed as I
expect it to. But if I click on the submit button on this page running through
a browser, which calls a php file, I get an error saying:

Unable to connect
           Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at localhost.
   The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
     moments.
   If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
     connection.
   If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
     that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

The URL at this point is

http://localhost/DisplayMCWPubs.php

which is the php file that runs fine from within the server (the php file
executes some sql and displays the results on the webpage).

I have tried duplicating the security settings I find for the iisstart.htm file
for the DisplayMCWPubs.php file, but that doesn't do anything.

What am I doing wrong? Anyone?
