I am trying to configure Oracle Client with Php + Apache server. My Apache + php server was running fine and also oracle client SQLPLUS utility was able to connect to remote database. But when I tried the steps in the link http://www.oracle.com/technology/pub/notes/technote_php_instant.html to configure OCI8 for the PHP, it went into trouble. I am using php5.2.4, with Apache 2 and Oracle client 10.2.0.3 here. So when trying to perform step 6, (skipped 5, as it was PHP bug 31084 <http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=31084> which is fixed now) I got an error in the buildconf -force script.
