Hi Lester,
You list c:\PHP5 as the base directory, and \ext should be below that.
In file manager you should be able to right click on the PHP5 directory and select 'properties', the security tab should say 'Full Access to Everyone', and the same with the \ext sub directory.
The files should be visible in the sub-directory.

Okay, i did that, but it's still the same... :-(

We can rule out php.ini in the right place, because if it was not you could not select a module ;) but you could try copying 'php.ini-dist' to c:\<windows>\php.ini and start again.

Well, you're absolutely right. PHP5 uses the right php.ini file. ( BTW: That was the first thing i've been checking with phpinfo() )

Only time I had a problem was with PHP4, PHP5 has always worked out of the box :)

I'm an experienced PHP4 installer. That's why i know how to eliminate the problems before they begin to appear... ;-)
Well, i guess PHP5 introduces some other problems, i've to solve before i can use it.
Maybe, i will try to install the next version, which will hopefully have better mysql/plugin support.

...or do you have any other advices you can give me?

Bye Marco
