Personally I have no problem running 24/7 with php5 and apache2 :) I had no problem with the previous php4 setup either.

as stated on the php manual at zend site, whi is it discouraged to use php with apache 2 on a production enviroment? what's the problem? stability? even using the last php and apache 2 version?
