Dear all, The Meaning reading group will run this term in weeks 2-8. This is an informal reading group open to students and faculty members from any department. Each week we discuss a new paper related to philosophy of language or linguistics. Meetings take place on Thursdays between 1 and 2pm in the Philosophy Graduate Common Room (third floor of the Raised Faculty Building).
The first meeting will be on Thursday 17th October (Week 2). Professor Rae Langton will present "Reimagining free speech." The reading list for the rest of term is available here: https://tinyurl.com/y5mqxc6u To receive weekly reminders about the meetings and readings, please sign up to the mailing list. (Everyone who was on the mailing list last year is still on it.)
