Dear all,

The Serious Metaphysics Group will meet each Wednesday during term time,
from 4.30 to 6.00pm in the Philosophy Faculty Board Room. A full list of
speakers for the coming term will soon be available here:
http://www.phil.cam.ac.uk/seminars-phil/SMG

Our first meeting will be this coming Wednesday (the 10th). We will have
Associate Professor Penelope Mackie (The University of Nottingham)
giving a talk entitled: 'Essentialism and Context-dependence: a New
Argument against Lewisian Counterpart Theory'. An abstract will be
circulated early next week.

The talk should last about 45 minutes followed by questions and
discussion. All graduate students are welcome.

I hope to see many of you there!

NATHAN HAWKINS
PhD student in Philosophy
Cambridge University
