Dear all, The Moral Sciences Club is delighted to host Professor Judith Jarvis Thomson (MIT), at our first meeting of the 2013-2014 academic year. Professor Thomson will give a talk entitled "Rights and Wrongs".
The meeting will be held at 5:15pm on Tuesday, 15 October, in the Lucia Windsor Room, Newnham College (Map: http://www.newn.cam.ac.uk/sites/www.newnham.local/uploads/files/About-Newnham/college_map_08.pdf ). As this will be the year's first meeting, attendees (especially those wishing to purchase subscriptions) are asked to please arrive *15 minutes early*, so that the meeting's business can commence in a timely manner. There is a charge of £7 for a year's membership for junior members (undergraduates and graduate students), or £14 for a year's membership for others. For those who do not join there is a £2 charge for one-off attendance at individual meetings for junior members and £3 for others.
