It sounds like you're using pgAdmin - IIRC you need to have some parts at least of Slony installed on the machine on which pgAdmin is running. There are separate lists for both Slony and pgAdmin - you might get more useful information there, but you'll need to post a good bit more information about your setup, what you did and what you're getting back.
