according to the documentation (CC to use the latest compiler):
./configure --with-gtk --enable-gtk2 --enable-unicode --disable-shared --enable-debug CC=gcc33 CXX=g++33
After this 'make' leads to error, gmake starts compiling…
PS I read Dave's message while writing this, so it seems the documentation should be updated!?

Hi,
I downloaded wxWindows-pgAdmin3-20031010-7.tar.bz2. But I just noticed that if I invoke gmake, I'll get the compilation running. So I had a version of make not understanding the Makefile built:-( For the time being I am satisfied, the error was mine (though it could be good to make sure to use gmake if it exists?).
I don't quite understand what you did, did you run ./configure appropriately before making?
