We could include the ones that are somewhat complete at petsc.org/release/tutorials, but in addition to general cleanup to ensure they're clear enough to help more than hinder, I think it's essential to replace the hard-coded code examples with excerpts from the tutorial programs themselves, and to replace hard-coded output with test reference output (and ideally do the same for the input so that also can't get out of sync, but I don't know if we have a clean way to do that from what's in the /* TEST */ blocks).
