For me, yes! I've been a Linux user for about 12 years, moved to the area a few years ago but I wasn't getting much out of (and not finding a way to give back to) the meetings so stopped going after a short time. Maybe I'll pop back in when they are running again if I'm not too tired from work! I'd be more motivated to go if there was a topic, or someone doing a demo. But I'm more interested in the system rather than GUIs. > [...] > I have one of the original Raspberry Pi’s on the shelf doing very little > so is there any mileage in have a series of meetings focussed on a > project to use a Pi for something useful? And if so what? I use mine for XBMC/Kodi (including a file server with external HDD) but it also proves useful as a general shell account (long running downloads, persistent IRC session, some crons/scripts etc). I'd be up for demoing what we use our Pis for. Out of interest are there any Arch users among us? That is my distro of choice. -- Jonathan _______________________________________________ Peterboro mailing list Peterboro@mailman.lug.org.uk https://mailman.lug.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/peterboro
