That's the page I used as a reference to set things up, although I didn't spot
the last entry about placing a log file in the chroot directory itself which I
am not sure I would be comfortable with.
I have found some other stuff
(http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2081637) involving rsyslog which
seems to solve the issue but again you have to create a \dev (to hold the log
file) folder at root level in the chroot which again doesn't seem ideal.
Perhaps I am being over cautious?
I'll keep searching and report back if I find something.
