Hi All I have created a restricted folder (SFTP Jail) for a third party that needs to occasionally upload files to my server (Ubuntu Server 12.04). The folder is set-up and working correctly, but I wanted to elevate logging to keep an eye on what is transferred and when.
I added this line to sshd_config: <Subsystem sftp internal-sftp -f AUTH -l INFO> I was under the impression that this should create entries in auth.log, but after some test files were transferred I see nothing in the log regarding the movement of files. I don't seem to have a \var\log\messages file. Any ideas or clues as to where I am going wrong? Cheers Stu
