Hi Phil,

I have tries TestDisk and had the following results:
Disk /dev/sda - 320 GB / 298 GiB - CHS 38914 255 63
Partition Start End Size in sectors
>* HPFS - NTFS 0 32 33 1529 232 47 24576000 [PQSERVICE]
 P HPFS - NTFS 1529 232 48 1542 254 63 210247 [SYSTEM RESERVED]
 P HPFS - NTFS 1543 0 1 11540 140 57 160610682 [ACER]
 L Linux 11541 2 1 38426 254 63 431923464
 L Linux Swap 38427 1 1 38912 254 40 7807504

Apparently TestDisk can see all partitions.
How safe is it to use Test Disk to repair or recreate the partition table?
Have you done it before?

Thanks,
Michele
