Why?
I used Hamachi ages ago (long before it got taken over my LogMeIn) and quite
liked it then, it seems to be working for me now.
The specific use case is: I'm looking for something that works easily with any
internet connection and gives me SSH access to the box. OpenVPN would be great
if I could get my head around its config but Hamachi is just working for me.
