P.S. According to the Joomla documentation web site
http://docs.joomla.org/ "Joomla! 2.5 is the current LTS version. The
previous LTS version, Joomla 1.5, is still widely used and will be
supported with security fixes only until April 2012." So, if it's
running 1.5 it's probably fairly urgent to update to a more recent
version, preferably the latest 2.5.x.
