J Thanks for the advice, the mouse button tip is in the Apple manual for the Mac Mini, and have seen it along with other advice on various postings. Tried it, it did not work, but then I was using an ordinary USB mouse not an Apple mouse, tried various mouse clicks etc. to no avail so far.

I've had Debian installed on a number of PPC Mac Minis, sounds like your CD drive is borked, I'll see if I can find a spare from my stash; bring the Mac Mini with you tonight! Have you tried powering on with the mouse button held down? That ejects the CD from most Apple things. _______________________________________________ Peterboro mailing list Peterboro@mailman.lug.org.uk https://mailman.lug.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/peterboro -- Paul Scally p1sc1...@fastmail.fm -- http://www.fastmail.fm - IMAP accessible web-mail _______________________________________________ Peterboro mailing list Peterboro@mailman.lug.org.uk https://mailman.lug.org.uk/mailman/listinfo/peterboro
