You would be better (IMHO) taking a look at CentOS as it is basically RHEL with
all of the branding removed.

Subject: [Peterboro] RHEL certification...

Hi,

just a quick question and I bet that some of you know what the answer is :)

I want to go for RHCSA certificate, but do you know if I can practice on
Fedora? What will be, if there is any, difference in console system management,
file system and so on?

Will I be able to achieve all objectives for RHCSA Exam on Fedora or do I have
to go on a training course worth Ł2500 (to be able to work on proper RHEL)?

https://www.redhat.com/certification/rhcsa/objectives/

Also if the answer is yes (I can use Fedora) is there any difference as for
which desktop (KDE, Gnome, LXDE) I will use? Don't think there is but just to
be sure :)

many thanks
Bart

P.S. One day I will manage to come to PLUG meeting... hope I will...
