Hi Folks Sorry if this has been reported already, but as a true bubble addict, I felt I had to....
If any of your non-linux friends are becoming harder to convert these days, you can always show them this web site: http://www.onlinegames.com/frozenbubble/ there's also a windows port available, although I beleive you need administrative privilees to install the various python modules http://fb-win32.sourceforge.net/ I have possibly converted one of my friends to ubuntu, and used the aforementioned items to whip up exitement! I am currently without a linux machine to play with so am (Back on Windows 7) having to get my fix of frozen bubble online, but since passing my Linux+ recently I may be tempted by a different OS when i get a new machine, something I have spoken to Malcolm about, moving from ubuntu to CentOS. Which I know is a big jump, moving from Debian to RedHat. I know not everyone likes ubuntu but as a distro it is very popular and really helps to convert people or at least open their minds because in ubuntu "stuff just works", like in windows, which is great, it worked for me as I was also tempted to try linux myself with ubuntu, but now I have a bit more confidence I'd like to try a redhat-esque distro as we use CentOS at work, but maybe if I dont get on with CentOS as a desktop OS is Fedora a reliable alternative? How exactly does Fedora differ from CentOS? Are there any CentOS / Fedora users on the list? How easy is it to work with? Can you still get cool effects like wobble windows and 3d cube? All the serious questions a linux admin must ask.....:D Enjoy the links and see you soon! Richard
