Connecting an HP printer to *buntu is simpler than to Windows, from 
recent experience, and I have a high end Canon printer that works in 
neither *buntu or Windows 7.

it's meant for them to *use* ie send and receive emails, tax the car 
etc. Nobody finds it necessary to "learn more about" TVs or hi-fi, after 
all.
